Rev. Andrea Dais Lewis, Ph.D. stands as a beacon of inspiration, blending her roles as an ordained minister, accomplished academic, and dedicated community leader. Guided by her favorite scripture, Luke 1:45, “And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord," Pastor Andrea has transformed a season of loss and detours into a powerful mission to uplift others.

A summa cum laude graduate of Spelman College, Pastor Andrea earned a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Divinity from Turner Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Georgia State University.

From her early days as an elementary school teacher to her roles as a school administrator and college department chair, Pastor Andrea has consistently championed academic excellence. In her current position as Director of Student Success and Associate Professor of Education at Spelman College, she spearheads initiatives to enhance academic support services and increase student retention and completion rates.

As an author, Pastor Andrea has written four books, including S.H.E. Who Believed: Redefining Life Through God's Grace.  Her written works serve as an extension of her mission to empower and encourage others.

Pastor Andrea is involved in various community organizations. She is a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and a member of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, The Links, Incorporated and the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College.

Pastor Andrea considers her greatest accomplishment to be the privilege of mothering her two sons. Her life and message is a testament to the power of perseverance, the importance of education, and the embodiment of unwavering faith.
